If one has to read the Bible on the web or an app then esv.org is the place to do it. Esv.org is the home of the English Standard Version (ESV), a revision of the Revised Standard Version by evangelical scholars and first published in 2001, and the only Bible available on the site. Published by Crossway, many printed editions of the ESV use a high standard of typography and materials; even the Economy Bible looks great to read and is probably the best economy Bible I've ever used. There are a number of study materials of an evangelical viewpoint, many of which are available by subscription, However, the Apocrypha, first published in 2008 and available only in print and paid e-book, is not included. The site uses a Century-style medium font. The lines are well-spaced though the white background is a bit too bright for reading as blue light is allowed to come in.
